The "Place de l'Eglise" shop

genuine institution in the Place de l'Eglise in Megève, the maison
AAllard and its famous shop windows - which regularly show the work of
artists - are almost worth a detour all by themselves, if only to
admire the sculptured wolves' heads decorating the façade, the granite
balconies, and night-time illumination! |
The accessory shop
Since
1990, this space designed around a magnificent wooden staircase has
been devoted to accessories. A little higher up the Place de l'Eglise
from the shop, overhanging the Nant des Cordes stream, you will find
numerous lines of complements with the AAllard label, ranging from the
famous umbrellas to richly decorated foulards, through soft peignoirs
and cosy slippers. |
